Meet Danielle, Attachment-Focused Psychotherapist

I’m an attachment-focused psychotherapist who believes that healing happens through connection. I offer a calm, compassionate, and collaborative therapeutic space where you can slow down, feel understood, and make sense of what’s been weighing on you.

As a therapist, and as a person and parent, I understand how overwhelming relationships and life transitions can feel. My work is rooted in Emotionally Focused Therapy and attachment science, helping clients understand their emotional patterns, regulate their nervous systems, and build safer, more connected relationships with themselves and others.

Connection is a Bridge to Healing

I approach therapy through an attachment-focused lens, knowing that the relationship we build together is the foundation for real, lasting change. My priority is to create a space where you feel emotionally safe, where you can show up fully as yourself without fear of judgment. This is where trust begins. When we feel securely connected, we are more open to exploring vulnerability, repairing past wounds, and developing new patterns of connection, both with ourselves and with others.

My Experience

For over 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting children, adolescents, and families through emotional distress, crisis, and developmental challenges. My early work focused on helping young people navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, suicidality, substance use, insecure attachment, and emotional regulation. Across these settings, my focus has always remained the same, helping clients feel understood, supported, and empowered toward greater resilience and self-awareness.

Today, my private practice centers on supporting women and couples in the perinatal and postpartum seasons of life — times that can awaken old attachment wounds, heighten isolation, and challenge one’s sense of identity. I work closely with couples navigating relational strain or seeking deeper emotional connection, drawing from attachment theory and Emotionally Focused Therapy to help repair ruptures and build secure bonds. My years in public mental health, youth corrections, and crisis services — alongside my own lived experiences of complex family dynamics and burnout — shape the empathy and steadiness I bring into the therapy room. I believe healing is not about striving for perfection, but about returning to connection, again and again, with ourselves and with the people who matter most.
